Melina & Nitro Split?, Notes On Bischoff, Mysterio, Cena

Eric Bischoff is launching a poker tournament on his official website tonight at 7:00 p.m. ET. For more information, or to start playing now, visit poker.ericbischoff.com.

Pablo Marquez, who had a brief stint in the WWF in 1998 as Tiger Ali Singh's manservant Babu, is booked to wrestle in a match at the SmackDown/ECW tapings this Tuesday in Orlando. This will be his first match in the U.S. in seven years. Marquez also wrestled as El Puerto Ricano in ECW in the mid-Nineties.

In the gossip feature in the latest issue of WWE Magazine, they seem to be implying that Melina and Johnny Nitro have quietly split up as an on-screen couple. Here is what was written: Which A-list couple will no longer be appearing in tandem at celebrity functions? While it isn't yet confirmed, I'm pretty confident in saying that this dynamic duo is officially "Splits"-ville. The two have NOT split in real-life.

The newspaper ads for the Tijuana show on July 4th have shrunk down the photos of John Cena and increased the size of the Rey Mysterio photos. Also, last week Rey was only listed as making a special appearance on the show, but this week they're saying that he's scheduled to make his in-ring return on that date. Now with that said, after tickets had been on sale for 11 days you could still get fourth row ringside as of Sunday night. The show on July 6th in Mexico City has sold out all of the ringside tickets, so it's not doing too bad. The July 7th show also has all close ringside seats sold out. There is bad news as you still could have gotten a second row seat for the July 5th show in Mexicali, Mexico, even after 11 days had passed. The reason for this is because Mexicali is a bad area and the people are much poorer there than in Mexico City or Tijuana. Ticket sales in general have been so bad that they're having to give away free tickets over a month in advance, which is a first.
