On the heels of WWE announcing yesterday that they had not received even a single inquiry regarding the alleged demise of Mr. McMahon, we have received numerous e-mails from WWE stockholders who said they have sent e-mails complaining to WWE in regards to the Vince McMahon "death" storyline. One stockholder said he enjoyed the angle as a fan, but not as a stockholder.
USA Network officially announced that the TV show "Dr. Steve-O" starring Steve-O of Jackass fame will be airing on Monday nights at 11:08pm ET/10:08pm CT following Raw. This explains the Jackass involvement for the SummerSlam PPV and even if they were unhappy with some of his backstage antics, it can't be called off without feeling pressure from USA Network.
Jim Ross confirmed in a new blog that WWE will be releasing a new Shawn Michaels DVD. Ross had the following to say about it: "Considering I just did a long DVD interview for the upcoming HBK DVD I vividly remember the interview I conducted with Shawn where Shawn kept jumping up and down giving me the crotch chop and generally being annoying. His job was to P.O. people and he was good at it. I was not "mad" at him for doing it but it was somewhat distracting I have to admit. Great antagonists have a way of getting under people's skin and HBK was a great antagonist back in the day. Shawn's DVD should be awesome as his journey in the biz has been extraordinary and I am proud to say I saw him in his first territory in person. I still remember that day in Shreveport at the Irish McNeil Boys Club at a taping of Mid South Wrestling."
