RAW Draft This Monday, Ric Flair, SNME Rating, & More

This Monday's three hour edition of RAW featuring the WWE Draft Lottery is completely sold out. The company is advertising WWE Champion John Cena vs. Umaga as the show's dark main event. WWE officials have notified talent and other employees requesting tickets that there are none available.

Ric Flair will make an appearance at the Bob Nessler Memorial golf tournament in Minnesota. According to reports, The Nature Boy will speak at a banquet at the event.

Last week's Saturday Night's Main Event show on NBC drew a 2.2 rating with a 5.0 share. The expected low rating is why NBC wanted the show moved to late night to begin with. In comparison, the Saturday Night Live repeat from the previous weekend during the same time slot drew a 3.9 rating and a 10.0 share. While the SNME rating may look bad, Game 3 of the Stanley Cup Finals, which aired earlier in the evening from 8-11 p.m., brought record low ratings to NBC for a prime-time program, sports or otherwise. The game received a 1.1 national rating and a 2.0 share. That number matched a rerun of The West Wing on July 23, 2005, which also drew a 1.1 rating. Furthermore, there are some people within WWE who believe that the rating was even lower than the number being reported.

ECW.com currently has a poll asking people which WWE star would benefit most from being drafted to ECW. Among the wrestlers listed include Batista, Jamie Noble, Kane, Chris Masters, Umaga and Chavo Guerrero. As of this post, Jamie Noble is in the lead with a 24% vote total.
