TNA Star Wants A Release, Sabu's TNA Return, Angle's Status

TNAWrestlingNews.com is reporting that Kurt Angle is legitimately talking with MMA's groups Bodog, UFC and EXC. Angle appears to be willing to take a sabbatical from TNA to devote himself full-time to train for MMA. Dave Hawk, Angle's agent, has talks scheduled with Bodog in the coming weeks, and Bodog feel they have the inside track to sign Angle. EXC wants him, but isn't exactly sure how to use him. Despite Dana White never wanting to mix pro wrestling and MMA for credibility reasons, UFC has the strongest television deal (although Bodog is trying to upgrade its TV) and could make him the best financial offer. Sources in TNA indicate that Angle is in the best shape he has been in since joining the company.

Sabu wants to return to TNA, and has already contacted the company about returning according to a TNAWrestlingNews.com source. Sabu has allies within TNA, so a return seems likely at this point. In the meantime, Konnan has offered Sabu a spot with the Foreign Legion in AAA.

The wrestling group AAA are talking about bringing in former NWA World Heavyweight champion Ron "The Truth" Killings full-time when he recovers from knee surgery. Killings is upset with TNA for not paying for his surgery, and has requested his TNA release which has not been granted.
