WWE Vengeance: Edge Vs. Batista For The World Title

Edge vs. Batista for the World Championship is up next. Former World Champion Harley Race was introduced at ringside.

Crowd wasn't into it for most of the match, but they got the crowd by the end. Edge hit Batista with a low blow at the end causing Batista to win the match by DQ, so Edge would have retained the World Heavyweight title. However, Teddy Long came out and ordered the match to continue, and said that if Edge got himself disqualified again, he would lose the title.

Crowd is really into the match now. Batista hit a batista bomb on Edge on the outside, however by the time he rolled Edge into the ring, he wasn't able to make the count and lost the match via countout.

Winner by countout: Edge.
