King Booker Uses TNA To Get Back At WWE
Source – Wrestling Observer Newsletter
As reported during the time of the draft King Booker didn't want to be moved back over to RAW. The situation seemed good for him, but last time Booker was with the RAW brand he could never get past mid-card status consistently. RAW does have more politics than SmackDown partially because it's prioritized and has Triple H's influence.
When King Booker moved over to SmackDown he was usually always at the top and even had a long title run. From a WWE standpoint this could explain why Booker had Christian Cage on his radio show and why he did a PWA vs. TNA feud with his local Texas promotion.
The feeling within the company is that because his contract is coming close to expiring, he was trying to send the message that he could go to TNA if he wanted to and keep running his local promotion. However as of right now King Booker and WWE are on good terms.
