Major ECW Rating Correction Inside, More News

In a big correction from a report last week, the 7/3 edition of ECW on Sci Fi actually did a 1.2 cable rating with a 2.2 share and not the 1.5 rating that was reported earlier. This is a huge drop from the 1.7 rating the show drew a week prior. If I'm not mistaken, this has to be the lowest rating ECW has ever drawn on Sci Fi since it's debut last summer in 2006. It's also on par with what TNA has been doing as of late.

WWE will be releasing a three DVD set about Rey Mysterio titled "Biggest Little Man" on October 23. Additional DVD releases from WWE will also include "The Triumph and Tragedy of World Class Championship Wrestling", a Steve Austin DVD set and "John Cena: My Life."

Rob Van Dam is not under a non-compete agreement with WWE as his deal officially expired as of July 1 after deciding not to renew. This process is different when WWE releases talent and give them 90 days pay in exchange for not appearing on national TV for another wrestling company. So, RVD is free to wrestle anywhere he wishes right now, but has stated numerous times that he has no plans to get involved in wrestling right now and is enjoying his hiatus.
