MVP's Next Challenger For The US Title?, More
It appears that MVP will be getting ready sooner than later to face a brand new challenger for his WWE United States Championship.
Only one week after he defeated the legendary 16-time World Champion "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair at Vengeance, MVP was handed a non-title loss to "The Big Red Machine" Kane on Smackdown this week. This could be the start of a longer running feud for MVP, with a possible match against Kane with the US Championship on the line down the road, especially considering these comments in an article on WWE.com regarding MVP's loss to Kane this week:
Unfortunately for MVP, he may have to see more of Kane, especially since The Big Red Machine pinned his shoulders 1-2-3 in a non-title match on SmackDown. The U.S. Champion solidified his hold on the gold when he defeated the legendary "Nature Boy" Ric Flair at Vengeance: Night of Champions but will he be forced to face the man he fears most, Kane, with the championship on the line?
If one was to hazard a guess, MVP could be forced to defend his championship against the former WWE Champion at the upcoming Great American Bash PPV, which is the next big event for the company in July right before Summerslam. Will MVP be able to hold back the title advances of "The Big Red Machine", or will Kane experience his first singles championship since he won the Intercontinental Championship from "Y2J" Chris Jericho back in September of 2002?
