TNA News: Releases, Christian Cage, Abyss, Lots More
The Movie "DOA: Dead or Alive," opened in limited release on 6/15 and took in $260,713. Kevin Nash appears in the movie as a main character. It cost $21 million to make the movie.
There is heat on both Ron Killings and Konnan for their recent departures. Both still owe the company money for their surgeries (both were loaned money). Konnan had a valid contract, and walked out before an already written television taping. There were threats of legal action being taken. Konnan is now threatening TNA left and right claiming he'll continue to bash the company until he gets his release.
WWE is opposing TNA's registration of the "VKM" trademark. The company has until October 17th to make their claim of opposition.
Christian Cage and Abyss will be in Puerto Rico today and Saturday working for World Wrestling Council. Others scheduled for the shows include WWE's Carlito, Eddie Colon (Carlito's brother), Ron "The Truth" Killings, Sabu, Dustin Rhodes, Scott Hall and Apolo.
