USA Wants The Attitude Era Back, Jericho's Return
Sources: Wrestling observer, PWTorch
As we reported a few weeks ago The USA Network are pushing WWE to improve their product and ratings. With the recent slump in Raw ratings this has never been more relevant.
As previously stated, they want regular appearances from mega stars such as The Undertaker and Steve Austin and a Vince Russo style attitude era product in general. They have even gone as far as to send them storyline ideas. Although stars like Austin and Mick Foley can't wrestle regularly they still want promos and segments with them in.
One name mentioned was Chris Jericho. Due to Jericho's "WWE" performance on Larry King and this recent push for him to be resigned it wouldn't be surprising to see his return very soon.
The Wrestling Observer reports that Jericho hasn't resigned yet because he wants more money than he has been offered in the past. Jericho thinks he is a bigger star than WWE do, but with the recent batch of injuries WWE may meet his demands.
