Dupree Confirms Wellness Violation, Rosey/WWE, More

WWE has released a new promotional poster for their 2007 Unforgiven pay-per-view for this September. The poster hypes the return of the Undertaker. As Daniel wrote here on the site yesterday, according to the InDemand preview, the show is being built around his return.

Rene Dupree claimed in a recent interview with SLAM! Wrestling that he asked to be released from his contract with World Wrestling Entertainment. He confirmed that he was suspended by the company for a Wellness Policy violation but did not further elaborate.

As reported weeks ago, former WWE star Rosey (Matt Anoai) will be on the ABC Reality show "Fat March." In advertisements for the show, Anoai has said that he was released from WWE for weight issues. WWE has fired back as WWE's Jennifer McIntosh told the Enquirer that Anoai had "a limited skill set as a performer, and he was not a fan favorite. He didn't connect with the audience." She says WWE applauds him for wanting to lose the weight and said, "If he becomes a better performer, and does more training, that's the scenario we've reinstated people for before."
