More McMahon/RAW Return **SPOILERS**, & More
One rumor making the rounds regarding Vince McMahon's return to WWE TV this Monday night is that Raw head writer Brian Gewirtz is lobbying for Vince's appearance to have them pick back up on the "limo angle" from the point where Vince was to make his return. When the angle was first done in June, the word making the rounds was that Linda McMahon would be framed for Vince's death and that Ken Kennedy would be involved to push his character. It's possible the company has completely different plans in play given reports earlier this week stating meetings took place with Raw losing viewers over the last month, but it's worth noting they could go in this direction.
Alex Marvez has his latest syndicated pro wrestling column up featuring comments from TNA live events coordinator Craig Jenkins stating that the company has plans to run 96 non-televised live events (House Shows) next year. The article also notes that TNA has plans to hold at least eight Pay Per View events outside of Orlando next year as well. "We couldn't be any happier with where we are as a product and brand right now. Quite frankly, it's time for us to get out on the road," said Craig Jenkins. The article also takes a look at how the landscape for WWE and TNA promoting live events could be changing if state athletic commissions become involved in drug testing pro wrestlers.
