The Rock Vs. John Cena?, RAW Mistake, More
Jim Ross has updated his blog at www.jrsbarbq.com today, in this edition he gives his opinion if X-Pac and Hulk Hogan will return to the WWE, as well as the mistake he made on Raw confusing Jillian Hall and Beth Phoenix. Here are a few things he had to say:
On X-Pac/Hogan Returning to WWE
Is X-Pac returning to the WWE? Beats me, but I would like it personally. He is a talented guy inside the ring no doubt about it. I don't know where his head is regarding the travel schedule, his overall health, etc.
Hulk has been in and out of the WWE scene many times over the years. For any one to predict that he will or will not be back in a WWE ring ever would be no more than a guess. Never say never when addressing this particular matter. Hulk appearing at the right event versus the right opponent with the right promotion would still do well. Is this going to happen? Your guess is as good as mine. For the record and to address Hogan fans who visit our site, I have no issues whatsoever with Hogan on a business or a professional level, if any one cares, or if it actually matters in the "big picture". I hope he sells millions of grills and the Mrs. and I do watch his VH1 TV show. If I have said less than positive things about him on TV back in the day, in the eyes of some of his fans, all I can say, "It's just business, Brother!"
On Mistake Made On Raw
I feel absolutely horrible about confusing Jillian and Beth and actually thought about suspending myself from TV for a week because of such a grievous, human error. However, I have seen the light, have consulted with the Reverend Billy Gibbons, and have worked diligently on recognizing big breasted, blonde women since last week. I think I have this matter in hand, so to speak. Thanks for your concern. I'm just a knucklehead.
The Rock vs. Cena?
Will we ever see a Rock vs. Cena match? My guess would be "highly unlikely". Rock is a movie star and isn't likely to ever wrestle again as he has made a career change. Do you blame him? I sure as hell don't. For those fans that damn the Rock for becoming successful in another career, I am puzzled by that logic. Rock is still a fan and always will be and him returning to the ring or not doesn't lessen his successes or his passion for the business that is in his blood. I would like to see the match between these two entertaining individuals, nonetheless.
