Update On WWE's Lawsuit Against Fake AWA

WWE currently owns the rights to the AWA name and tape library and is still locked in a lawsuit with an Indy promotion ran by Dale Gagner, no relation of the Gagnes. Dale is profiting off of the AWA name by calling the promotion AWA Superstars and claiming to be affiliated with the original AWA.

WWE disclosed to the court that not only are they seeking damages for the promotion's "unauthorized use of WWE's intellectual properties" in an amount to be determined but also all court and attorney's fees.

Verne Gagne (Former owner of the real AWA) and son Greg Gagne may be called to testify.
