Armageddon Note, Cowboys/WWE, Drugs, Benoit, More

Dave sent this in: I might be wrong on this, but at the present moment, Armageddon 2007 is not scheduled to be held. The event, which was due to be at the Mellon Arena has not yet been confirmed by – their official website, or WWE.com. With only three months until the event, it looks highly unlikely that it is going to be held in 2007. If it is not held, that means that there will be no Pay-Per-Views between Survivor Series 2007 and Royal Rumble 2008.

Shawn sent this in: I was reading an article about how the Cowboys suspended their QB coach and it mentions the WWE and it's suspensions at the end of it. I guess this internet drug ring is bigger then just pro wrestling.

David Hughes sent this in: As a follow up from the news previously posted by David Long on September 1st regarding Sky Sports here in the UK, WWE and Sky Sports have seemed to offer customers three PPV's for the price of two here in the UK.

Dave passed this statement along from the official website of WWE's Mr. Kennedy: "Many are aware of the current situation with WWE's latest Drug and Wellness Policy Suspensions. Ken Kennedy's Name was listed among the few involved. I am posting this thread as a reminder to all, to Try and get along with each other during this time. Obviously some fans are going to feel Angry or Betrayed, While others will be confused, or some may not even Care. It is up for all of us to try and accept how others are feeling and to post without the "childish name calling" that can happen during these debates. While i am open to having members here who are Fans that are annoyed with what he has done, I will be banning any member that is here to just trash talk Ken. This is a fan Forum, for his fans only.. If you are not a fan you should not be here.."

Justin Tait sent this in: Just sending you word that over here in Australia at department store chain Big W, they are continuing to sell Hard Knocks: the Chris Benoit story DVD. The pricing is now $18 AU, up from the $15 it used to be before his death. I questioned the manager regarding why they have the DVD, and he told me that his death just means people will pay more money for the DVD. This is interesting as most places I've gone to have pulled the DVD off the shelves.

R. Teahan sent this in following up on an earlier report: Just wanted to pass on a note pertaining to the use of Chris Benoit's music at a recent OHL game. It's not really surprising considering that the theme was performed by Our Lady Peace, a Canadian alt/rock group with a pretty big following up here. Not really news worthy, I know, but being a Canadian fan the piece caught my eye.
