Big Update On The Ric Flair/WWE/TNA Situation

The PWTorch Newsletter backs up reports of Ric Flair quitting WWE in it's newest issue. WWE management is trying to cool him off and change his mind, but there is no word on if he budging or not on his decision to leave. His frustrations manifested weeks ago, before the suspensions, in relation to issues regarding his status in the company and on TV.

If things don't work out with WWE, it's very possible that Flair could be offered a nice deal to be part of TNA's two hour launch. TNA is aware of the impact that Flair could have on their ratings as they expand to two hours, although reports suggest that Spike TV is more than happy with the numbers that Impact brings in.

Flair started up his own business last year to prepare himself for life after wrestling. He still owes quite a bit of cash to the I.R.S., but the payments to them are set up to take a percentage of the money he makes and not all of the money he makes and he is said to not be under tremendous pressure to earn huge money. Flair is said to be happy with how his life is going outside of wrestling with his family and his new wife.
