No Mercy Update, The Suspensions, Cena, Jazz/TNA, More
They have started advertising in Chicago for the WWE No Mercy PPV on October 7 and they are promoting John Cena vs. Randy Orton and Batista vs. The Undertaker as the top two matches. Cena vs. Orton in a Last Man Standing match was announced last night, while Batista vs. Undertaker was hinted at.
As noted earlier here on the website, WWE wrestlers that were issued a 30 day suspension will be returning to WWE during the first week of October. Talent will return for the Raw taping on October 1 in Cleveland, while the rest will return at the Smackdown & ECW tapings the following night in Dayton on October 2.
For those of you keeping track, Yesterday marked the one year anniversary of John Cena's current reign as WWE Champion. Cena defeated Edge last year on September 17, 2007 in a TLC Match at last year's Unforgiven PPV in Toronto to recapture the title and has been champion ever since.
TNAWrestlingNews.com is exclusively reporting today that Jazz is expected to debut at TNA Bound For Glory.
