Pro Wrestling Illustrated Acquired By The Golden Boy Enterprises

– PW Torch has reported that The Pro Wrestling Illustrated newsstand and subscription-based magazine has been acquired by Golden Boy Enterprises.

If you did not know already Golden Boy Enterprises is owned by former world champion boxer, Oscar De La Hoya.

The company not only purchased the Pro Wrestling Illustrated titles but also other titles from Kappa Publishing Group Inc. that include The Ring Magazine, KO, and World Boxing.

The Ring and Pro Wrestling Illustrated brands are, in our opinion, two of the strongest and most recognized brands in their respective fields.
