The Rock's New Movie, UFC DVD's Top WWE's, Shogun And More

The Rock's new movie, The Game Plan, opened today to poor reviews, continuing a streak of his movies that have performed poorly with critics. It is currently at a 33% at RottenTomatoes.com, a site which aggregates movie reviews. It has 36 reviews counted so far. It is expected to open at #2 this weekend behind The Kingdom, with analysts expecting it to gross about $17 million over the weekend.

With the critics, every major film that Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson has starred in has performed poorly with the critics, except for 2003's The Rundown, which scored an impressive 70% (a 60% or higher is considered 'Good') at RottenTomatoes.com.

Also, if The Game Plan does open at #2, it would join Be Cool and Walking Tall as the only Dwayne Johnson movies that haven't opened at #1 (they also opened at #2). Despite having so many films to open at #1, he has yet to have a film that crosses $100 million domestically.
