WWE had a meeting with prosecutors in Albany, New York on 8/14, and were given the names linked to the Signature Pharmacy investigation, two weeks prior to Summerslam. They met again when WWE was in Albany for the SD! and ECW taping on August 28th.
Apparently Randy Orton's name was not on the list given to WWE by prosecutors which explains why he wasn't suspended. Orton was suspended a year ago for failing a steroid test that he didn't have a prescription for.
WWE fired Nick "Eugene" Dinsmore after the former superstar tested positive for pain killers and reportedly his prescription had expired, and he had no medical justification for the test result.
