Big Evening Update: Drug Tests, Y2J, Armageddon, Divas, More
Today marks being a month away from November 1 when World Wrestling Entertainment will publicly reveal any Wellness Test related suspensions within the company. While this will be embarrassing for performers who fail any tests from November 1 and on, with pressure from the media at an all-time high it is the only logical thing to do at this point.
Matt passed on a link to us regarding the Armageddon PPV on December 16 in Pittsburgh, PA at www.wwe.com:80/schedules/events/eventdetail/?id=5546578. Tickets for the show go on sale October 20.
TigerGroge sent this in: TNA Mobile just sent out an update noting that Kurt Angle is in talks with MMA group, IFL (International Fight League), David Heath (formerly Gangrel) was backstage at a recent TNA event. And finally that TNA has plans to tour TEXAS this January!
Omar E. sent this in: In this month's edition of WWE the Magazine at the very back in the last couple of pages, they had a "Y2J return trivia" quiz. The question was what did Y2J first say when he got to the WWF. Interesting note with the No Mercy speculation.
Jack Clifton sent this in: Hey guys I was just surfing the net and came across the website ticketek.com.au which is distributing the tickets to the WWE house shows in Australia in November. All of the shows which are in Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney are struggling to sell tickets. In fact there are still tickets available to all 3 shows. For the Sydney show only half the arena is being filled at the moment. This is poor considering the event is in 1 month. I think this shows the decline in interest towards Wrestling. In comparison I went to a Raw house show in 2005 and the tickets were sold out in 1 hour. Seems that the WWE is not popular all over the globe anymore.
WWE Diva search contestant Jessica Hatch will be appearing on the Shredd and Ragan show this evening at 5pm on 103.3 Rock Radio to promote herself and the WWE diva search. This is her second appearance on that show.
