All Major Media Outlets Pick Up New Suspensions Story & More
Most major media outlets have at least briefly picked up the suspensions of Chris Masters and DH Smith (Harry Smith). This comes just one day after WWE began actively naming and shaming offenders on their corporate website, so a wellness test must have occurred around the time the new policy launched.
In a 2003 interview with SLAM! Wrestling, Harry Smith had this to say. "I've never taken steroids, I don't plan to. I loved my Dad, and yes he made mistakes, but I have learned from them. I won't go down that path." But upon going to development something must have altered his opinion.
Despite Chris Masters having a stint in rehab in 2006 due to pain pill addiction, he was not tested so he technically is only on his second offense and will serve 60 days. One more strike and Masters is gone. He won't be able to return to action until the first SmackDown show of 2008.
