Lot Of RAW Notes For Tonight, Y2J, Shaq, Damon, SSeries, More
Tonight's edition of WWE RAW will air live from the Bank Atlantic Center in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Expect to see the continuation of Shawn Michaels' feud with WWE Champion Randy Orton, Umaga looking for revenge on Triple H and Jeff Hardy, as well as the highly anticipated answer to the Save_US viral marketing campaign. All indications point towards tonight being the night that Chris Jericho returns to WWE.
The preview for tonight's RAW on most cable system's guides reads: "Survivor Series results; is tonight the second coming?"
Speaking of Jericho's return to WWE, the former Undisputed Champion sat down with The Winnipeg Free Press late last week to discuss his return to wrestling. "It's been the worst-kept secret in pro wrestling," Jericho said with a chuckle about his long-rumored return.
There were several celebrities in attendance at last night's Survivor Series pay-per-view at the AmericanAirlines Arena in Miami, Florida. As shown on camera, Shaquille O'Neal of the Miami Heat, Alfonso Soriano of the Chicago Cubs, and Johnny Damon of the New York Yankees were all at last night's show. One of Florida's top indie wrestlers, Billy Fives was in attendance along with indie workers Johnny Vandal and Jackie. In addition to Shaq, Udonis Haslem and Jason Williams of the Miami Heat sat at ringside. WWE super fans the Sign Guy and Tye Dye Guy were also in attendance at the show.
The Miami Herald has a new article now online praising Saturday night's Survivor Series show. The publication says 48 out of 50 people polled about the event said that it ranged from very good to great to awesome.
