News On Survivor Series, RAW, Austin, D-X, & More
Donna sent the following: I read your note from the WWE San Bernadino show and thought I would add a couple more. They announced WWE will be returning to So Cal this February with a RAW event at the Staples Center on 2/16 and a RAW Taping at the Honda Center in Anaheim on 2/18. They also announced that tickets were still left for tonight's RAW in LA with DX and Austin. Also, there was a guy named Smudge from England who was with Triple H and they had a camera crew from England filming them the whole time. Triple H said he was his guest of honor and the WWE said this would be airing on English TV sometime around Christmas. The guy got on the ropes and did the water bottle spot and other things like Triple H. Apparently he was from some charity organization or something. Not really news, but I thought it was very odd that Cody Rhodes got the clean win over Mr. Kennedy. And just one more note, WWE did a ten bell salute to the Fabulous Moolah before the show.
Beginning today, the syndicated "Family Feud" television game show will feature ten WWE superstars (of course only 8 "current" Superstars as Booker & Sharmell are now gone) battling it out all week long in what is being described as "a full-on contest of wits and wills." Many media outlets are running articles on the show that features Boys vs. Girls. Ric Flair, Mr. Kennedy, Batista, The Coach and King Booker will take on Candice Michelle, Michelle McCool, Maria, Layla and Queen Sharmell. The Divas won the game today and won the bonus $20,000 at the end. Candice and Sharmell did the final bonus question/answer segment. The stars will appear on the show all week long.
WWE has released two new Christmas ornaments on WWEShop.com. One features cartoon pictures of superstars while the other features the actual picture of superstars. You can check them out at WWEShop.com.
The official theme song for WWE's upcoming Survivor Series pay-per-view is "Tick Tick Boom" by The Hives.
As I reported earlier this morning here on the site, OVW's Vladimer Kozlov and Atlas DeBoe worked WWE house shows this weekend. Kozlov defeated Brian Kendrick in a singles match while William Regal beat Atlas DeBoe.
