WWE averaged 5,432 fans per show at their live events with an average gate of $165,912 for the month of August. These numbers include several official sellouts.
One of the issues that the Sci-Fi Network has with WWE's weekly ECW television series is the fact that it does not featured any Sci-Fi related content. One of the stipulations to the original deal was that WWE would agree to include some Sci-Fi content in the product, something that they started to do in the beginning, but have included less since time has went on.
Bret Hart appeared on the Wrestling Observer Live radio show on Sunday night and he said that Vince McMahon approached him over the summer about doing a followup DVD. Hart said that he wished the Hitman vs. Undertaker match at SummerSlam 1997 could have been included on the first set, along with more matches from his Stampede Wrestling days.
