Shocking Comments From Orton's Marathon Runner, CNN/WWE/Flair
Randy Orton's marathon runner from RAW was a WWE fan Jon Palmar. Palmar recently wrote an article for WWE.com and was featured in a New York Times article on WrestleMania earlier this year. That article said Palmar was 18 year old and an aspiring professional wrestler. Palmer was quoted saying, "I want to become a wrestler myself. You know, some steroids and I'll be able to do it. To accomplish my dreams I'm willing to do whatever it takes." Probably not the best way to get a WWE contract at this point and if anyone from WWE heard that comment you would have never seen him in that role.
First Chuck Norris, then Ted Nugent. Now, wrestling legend Ric Flair is joining the list of celebrities who are throwing their support behind former Arkansas governor Mike Huckabee for President in 2008. CNN reports (I'm sure WWE at thrilled about that!) that Flair will co-host a campaign tailgate with the candidate at the South Carolina vs. Clemson football game on Saturday afternoon in Columbia, South Carolina. More details are forthcoming.
