Harry Smith Limited To Heat, WWE Saving Money, More

Source – Wrestling Observer Newsletter

– Jeff Lewis (the wrestler who did the Shawn Michaels impersonation on RAW a few weeks ago) did well enough to get a tryout in Ohio Valley Wrestling. No word yet on the result of that tryout.

– WWE will be doing two weeks of taping in February to save money on not taping overseas. On February 2nd WWE will be in Austin, Texas to tape RAW for that week and then a few hours later, will tape another show that will air on February 11th. SmackDown and ECW will be doing their regular Tuesday tapings, but they will come back on Wednesday, February 6th in Houston, Texas to tape the February 12th ECW and the February 15th edition of SmackDown.

– Since returning from his suspension, Harry Smith has been limited to WWE Heat. Before, he was receiving a pretty big push on RAW. His suspension was of no political value as an FCW guy, but was as a guy on TV who they were pushing. The result of the drug test was known before they made the call to put him on television.
