Judas Mesias Mask On iMPACT!, Hogan Note, WWE/FCW, & More

From ronit: I heard from a friend who watched Smackdown in Australia that next week on Smackdown they will start a "Beat The Clock" challenge and the winner will face Edge for the WHC champion at the Royal Rumble.

From Dr. Keith Lipinski: In the least exciting wrestling story of the day it appears that Hulk Hogan has been replaced in US Weekly celebrity feud watch by syndicated TV Judge David Young (no, not the TNA loser).

The Tampa Bay Business Journal is carrying a short article about World Wrestling Entertainment investing money in the training facility now known as Florida Championship Wrestling. FCW is the second WWE developmental territory along with Ohio Valley Wrestling after Deep South Wrestling was dropped from their training deal. FCW is based in Tampa and expansion and construction of the training facility is under way at its location on South Dale Mabry Highway. "We are viewing Florida Championship Wrestling as a premiere training facility for WWE, and we have invested in FCW's infrastructure to make it a world-class facility," said Gary Davis, WWE's VP of Corporate Communications. Davis described the investment as "limited financial support," adding that the major investment is WWE talent and training. (Thanks to Colin Vassallo)

From Eric Rydecki: The mask that was worn by Judas Mesias on the 12/27 edition of iMPACT! was a replica of Slipknot frontman, Corey Taylor's mask except in blue.
