More On The Rock Turning Down RAW, More News
Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson has turned down the offer to appear on the Monday Night RAW 15th Anniversary special this coming Monday. It is rather unfortunate that a guy like The Rock who helped make RAW popular along with the likes of Steve Austin, Triple H, HBK and others refused to show up on this special occasion. It was not revealed why the offer was turned down. While a schedule conflict or filming issues – assuming he's working on his next movie – is the possible reason, anything other than that doesn't sound good for the relationship between The Rock and the organization that made him a Superstar. The Rock was used in some promotional material for this show. (thanks to Colin Vassallo)
The 11/24 Raw show in Augusta, GA drew 4,000 fans and a live gate of $125,000. 11/24 in Knoxville did 4,800 fans and a $150,000 gate. 11/25 in Greensville, SC only drew 1,200 fans at the 16,000-seat Bi-Lo Center, the site of TNA's 2/10 PPV.
