Senshi's Last TNA Match, Why Kong Changed Her Name, Karen Angle, More
Partial Source: The Wrestling Observer Newsletter
TNAWrestlingNews.com is reporting that Amazing Kong changed her ring name in TNA to Awesome Kong because TNA wanted her to sign over the right to her name. Prior to signing with TNA, she was approached by WWE, but TNA made her a concrete offer first.
TNAWrestlingNews.com is also reporting that Karen Angle recently filmed a pilot for a reality show.
As noted on Friday by the TNAWrestlingNews.com website, Jimmy Rave has not signed a TNA contract. Apparently his lack on his push is a result of not listening to encouragement from Vince Russo to improve his physique.
Senshi's last TNA match will be at the Final Resolution PPV, where he is expected to put over Elix Skipper.
There is talk of splitting up Lance Hoyt and Christy Hemme. TNAWrestlingNews.com reported that the two recently split in real life as well.
As noted on Friday here on the site, rumors suggest that Team 3-D will be putting over some of the X-division talent, and then leave the company in late January or early February. I've heard from several sources that they want to return to McMahon land. We'll see.
