Sylvain Grenier/TNA, Rikishi/Fatu Never Returning To TNA?
Four-time WWE World Tag Team Champion Sylvain Grenier is one of the latest additions to the TNA family. He is currently announcing the French language broadcasts of TNA Impact. He was backstage at the Impact tapings two weeks ago, but there are no plans for him in TNA past his role as the French language announcer.
The TNA Bound For Glory 2007 DVD goes on sale December 11. More information on the DVD is up at TNAWrestling.com.
There is currently no talk of Junior Fatu returning to TNA. He rubbed a few people the wrong way with his "I'm a big star from WWE" mentality. There was some heat on him for a promo he did on Robert Roode on an Impact episode where he acted like Roode was a jabroni and that he didn't even know his name. On the other hand, Booker T & Sharmell gave everyone the vibe that they love being in TNA and are thrilled to be out of WWE.
TNA announced on their website that the live events that were scheduled for December 14 and 15 in Monterrey and Mexico City have been cancelled. Presumably, this is due to lackluster ticket sales.
