Media mogul Rupert Murdoch launched the Fox Business Network on October 15, 2007. Fox Business Network features a show with WWE star John Bradshaw Layfield as a host as he regularly appears with Neil Cavuto on his show, Cavuto, which airs daily at 6 p.m. Thus far, the upstart business channel has performed poorly to say the least. The network launched in a little over 30 million homes, but has drawn an estimated 6,000 average weekday viewers in its first few months on U.S. cable television, far behind rival CNBC, according to early ratings estimates obtained by Reuters. Seeing how the network is in approximately 30 million homes, that gives the network an average daytime rating of 0.0002. Although, the ratings spiked during prime time as the channel averaged 15,000 viewers in the nine weeks through the week of December 16. To compare, CNBC draws 234,000 viewers during prime time.
