Lots More Sunday Evening News: 'Roids, Abyss/Kane, New Japan/TNA, Nash, More

  • The internal feeling in WWE is that the heat from the government regarding steroids is over. Don't be surprised to see wrestlers return to their former sizes.
  • The actual attendance for the 1/4 Tokyo Dome featuring New Japan and TNA talent was 20,000, with about half the crowd paying, and half papered. New Japan had announced a crowd of 27,000 for the event.
  • We received reports that fans were confused about the man that faced Manabu Nakanishi at the Tokyo Dome show, which was Abyss. Many of the observers thought Abyss was a Kane impersonator.
  • Zach Arnold is reporting that Shinsuke Nakamura will work the TNA tapings on 1/21, 1/22, and 1/23 in Orlando, Florida.
