Notes From Kennedy's Wedding, WWE/Britney Spears, Mysterio At NFL Game, More
There is a feature on WWE.com in which Jesse, Festus, The Miz, John Morrison and Shelton Benjamin give some advice to Britney Spears. You can view their advice videos at WWE.com.
Some people in the UK have been asking the Sky Channel about WWE programming going in High Definition. According to their Customer Relations department, there are no plans to broadcast the Royal Rumble in HD. Sky has HD simulcast channels in Sky 1 and Sky 2, but not Sky 3, the channel Raw airs on, so well, Raw won't be broadcast in HD either for the time being.
Rey Mysterio was at the Indianapolis Colts vs. San Diego Chargers playoff game earlier today to cheer on his hometown Chargers. Here is a report on Rey's appearance, courtesy of Brent Taylor... "Hi, my name is Brent Taylor from Southern Illinois and I am a loyal rajah.com reader, and I thought I would send in an interesting sighting that I noticed on the Colts/Chargers playoff game today (Sunday 1/13). Right before halftime they showed a few clips of some plays that occured in the first half, and then they showed a guy attending the game that certainly appears to be Rey Mysterio. It would only make sense that it would be him considering he is from the San Diego area. I am attaching a few photos with this email message, and hope that you guys will post it if you can indeed confirm that this is Mysterio. I've also included a few photos of Peyton Manning and the Playoffs logo for validity purposes. Thanks for your time, and keep up the good work." Ken Kennedy got married this weekend to his girlfriend Shawn Trebnick. Matt Hardy, who attended the wedding, posted the following on his MySpace.com blog: Whoa dudes! We've had three hard days of celebrating this monumental marriage (a.k.a. partying, LOL), but now it's time to go home. Finally, I am back in my room after a really nice wedding tonight that capped off an extremely fun 3 days in Minnesota. I have to admit, I haven't ran this hard over the course of three days since my appendix ruptured. But-I held up just like the old self, actually better! It was great getting a chance to spend so much good, quality time with Shane, Ken, Jamie, Dara, and Hassan. It was almost like the old golden days, traveling on Smackdown with the CCB's! I'm exhausted from sleeping only a few hours a night and wearing those damn uncomfortable tuxedo shoes, HA! But, in all actuality-I did get alot of compliments on my very not-me tuxedo look-I'll have to post you guys and gals some pixs when I get a chance. If I crash now, I can sleep three and a half hours before I gotta get up and catch that flight back to NC-so I'm going for it. Good night to you all my peeps, I got nothin' but love for ya! And congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Anderson, may God bless you guys in your new journey in life!
Former WWE Diva Dawn Marie was in attendance at the Ring of Honor show in Edison, New Jersey. Dawn was just there to visit with some of her friends that work for the company. I'd expert her in TNA sooner or later.
Ring of Honor has announced that they will return to Edison, New Jersey and Boston, Massachusetts (both cities they ran in this weekend) on April 12th and 11th respectively.
