Raven/TNA Release Update, New House Shows, WWE Vs. TNA?, More

Mike Johnson is claiming that there is no truth to rumors that Raven has left TNA Wrestling. I can confirm though that Raven and TNA are parting ways. I'm not sure where Mike is getting his information on this but the two sides will not be working together after his current TNA contract expires. Also, Raven had been telling people that he did not feel like the company was going to re-sign him and that he planned on pursuing other interests (including penning a column on a popular wrestling website). However, according to a source close to the situation TNA has offered him a new deal. Raven has not accepted or declined the offer as of the time of this writing.

Reader Charlie sent this? WWE is sending Royal Rumble questionnaires, via e-mail, out to all of their WWE.com Newsletter subscribers. The questions ask about thoughts on the PPV, how you ordered, thoughts on gimmick PPVs and specialty matches and backstage entertainment, as well as other stuff. One question asks, Which of the following recent pay-per-events did you order? WWE Armageddon (December 16, 2007), TNA: Final Resolution (January 6, 2008), Boxing: Trinidad vs. Jones Jr. (January 19, 2008), and UFC 80: Rapid Fire (January 19, 2008) I thought it was slightly interesting to include TNA PPVs on the list.

Devin Cutting sent this in: TNA is running a house show at the Salem Civic Center in Salem, Virginia on Thursday, March 13th, 2008. Bell time is 7:30 PM.

TNA has announced that they will hold a house show at the Eastern Kentucky Expo Center in Pikeville, Kentucky on Friday, March 14th.

Senshi and Rick Steiner were both removed from the TNA's roster page on their official website, so both appear to be done with the company as of now.
