WWE & TNA News: Rumble/HD, Ms Brooks, Scott Steiner, & More

Mase sent this in: Just a small tidbit for Australian WWE fans. Foxtel (the main cable TV provider here) broadcasted the Royal Rumble in a widescreen format. Usually they are presented in a 4:3 standard format. It could mean that Foxtel is going to broadcast WWE-HD programming in the future when they upgrade to the new Foxtel HD service later this year.

Matt W. sent this in: Long time reader of the site. I just wanted to report that in Somerville MA (Comcast) even though the WWE offers Hi-Definition for the Royal Rumble, it seems that Comcast doesn't carry that feed. Mind you, they have the advertisements of it being in HD, they don't have any answers for us after spending 30 minutes on the phone with a not-so-helpful representative. She then hung up on us, after we told her that "we wanted our money back". I just wanted to inform everyone of this situation.

Lexi Pillman, one of Brian Pillman's stepdaughters, was scheduled to make her wrestling debut over the weekend in Woodstock, GA.

Ms. Brooks' profile has been changed to Traci Brooks on the TNA roster page.

On 2/2, Scott Steiner will be signing autographs from 2 to 4PM at the V.F.W. in Lodi, NJ at the JWAC Collectibles promotion. Autograph tickets are $20 that includes an 8 x 10 and a Polaroid with the grappler. For information, call 917-449-3463.
