WWE Lawsuit Update, Hulk Hogan, Benoit, Sunny Debuting, More

Source – WrestlingObserver

– As we reported yesterday, Memphis pro wrestling promoter Cory Maclin is suing World Wrestling Entertainment over them not allowing Jerry Lawler to work a match last year against Hulk Hogan. The suit claims WWE violated two sections of the Sherman Anti-Trust act. While the suit doesn't specify damages, it states Maclin is seeking punitive and other damages. Maclin claims he lost his Sam's Town Casino house show deal due to the fact that WWE won't allow their wrestlers to work for him any longer because he used Hogan.

– Michael Benoit (the father of the late Chris Benoit) will be doing an interview on Entertainment Tonight Canada on Monday. They are pushing it as a major interview.

– Speaking of Hogan, he was on the Rachel Ray show yesterday. He talked about slamming Andre The Giant and said he was really 700 pounds and not 500 like people say. Hogan said that he tore all kinds of muscles during the slam.

– Former WWE diva Tammy Sytch will be debuting for Pro Championship Wrestling on January 19th at the Don Preston Community Center in Midlothian, IL.
