Backstage Destination X PPV News, Jonny Fairplay/TNA Update, More

Jonny Fairplay still hasn't signed a TNA contract, although he was present at a recent Impact taping. The two sides are talking, reportedly for a two-year contract. Dixie Carter has always liked him. At the taping, Fairplay was pushing for the company to also bring in another "Survivor" cast member. At one time, TNA was paying Fairplay more than $100,000 per year.

The 2/23 iMPACT! replay did a 0.4 rating.

Ringside seats for the 3/9 Destination X PPV in Norfolk, VA is sold out, but every other price category hasn't sold well at all. They have changed the configuration, so half of the arena will be blocked off for the event.

TNA is said to be treating Destination X as a throw away PPV. They are more interested in building to Lockdown which is one of their big three events along with Slammiversary and Bound for Glory.

Speaking of Lockdown, the theme for the event will be "Nothing To Lose" by "Operator".
