Backstage Update - New TNA Knockout Show, AAO, Angle, More
There are still talks going on regarding a possible TNA Knockouts television program. However, if the idea plays out, it probably won't be airing on Spike TV. They will likely sell it to another network, quite like how UFC sold it's sister promotion, World Extreme Cagefighting, to the Versus channel. Internally, there is some skepticism on doing an all-women's show because they don't know if the high quarter hour ratings the women usually get will continue when they have to carry the show.
TNA Against All Odds in Greenville, SC drew 3,500 fans according to their box office. However, the event was heavily papered as the show drew a little less than 2,000 paying fans, and that's with a two-for-one ticket sale the Bi-Lo Center apparently had.
Kurt Angle now has a MySpace page at www.myspace.com/kurtangleteenchallenge. He's promoting the "3rd Annual Kurt Angle Ultimate Teen Challenge" on the page.
