Did Y2J's Return Draw A Buyrate?, Rock/Oscar Pics, Demento/WWE, Lots More

  • Earlier in the month, WWE made former star Damian Demento close his account on YouTube because they don't want him using the 'Damian Demento' name on his videos, which they own the rights to. Demento has since opened up a new account on YouTube at www.youtube.com/user/MansDeepestFears. In his latest video, he asks for work from WWE. He's willing to work in front of the camera, or behind it. He says he wouldn't getting back in wrestling. Also, the latest issue of WWE Magazine with the four specialty WrestleMania covers pokes fun at Demento again. In their monthly 15-question quiz feature, they ask: "Which curtain-jerker did The Undertaker defeat in the first Raw main event?" The options are Waylon Mercy, Barry Horowitz, Max Moon and Damian Demento. Of course, the answer is Damian Demento.
  • The pay-per-view buys figure for Armageddon '07 featuring Chris Jericho vs. Randy Orton is in, and the show did practically the same numbers as the '06 show, which featured a main event of John Cena & Batista vs. King Booker & Finlay. The 2007 show drew 237,000 buys, 149,000 of which were domestic. The 2006 show drew 239,000 buys with 139,000 domestic. Overall, the 2006 show did 2,000 more buys, although the 2007 version drew 10,000 more domestic buys and 12,000 less international buys. In comparison to recent pay-per-views, No Mercy drew 271,000 buys, Cyber Sunday drew 194,000 and Survivor Series drew 341,000.
