Floyd Mayweather Coverage - Birthday, WWE Stint 'Career Killing'?

Floyd Mayweather was spotted celebrating his 31st birthday last night in Las Vegas, Nevada with Keisha Cole.

Reader Michael R sent the following two items:

- I was just watching Pardon the Interruption on ESPN, and the hosts, Tony Kornheiser and Michael Wilbon, brought up the story of Mayweather getting paid $20 million to wrestle at WrestleMania. I didn't catch entirely what Wilbon said, but right as they were cutting to a commercial, Tony said, "I bet you money, Wilbon, that Mayweather won't step foot in that ring."

- Earlier, I was watching Around the Horn on ESPN. Two of the three journalists that were left on the show, Jay Marioti and Kevin Blackistone, said that Mayweather stepping foot in a wrestling ring would be a "career killling move". Marioti also called Big Show "Mayweather's 7 foot 430 pound oaf of an opponent". The other journalist, Woody Paige, praised Mayweather's decision to get in the ring, and said that most of America only knows Mayweather from Dancing With the Stars.
