Money Spent On WWE Going HD, Raw Errors, SD! Rating, More

- WWE SmackDown this past week drew a final 2.6 broadcast rating. That rating is down from the recent weeks.

- Apparently WWE spent around 20 million dollars to upgrade their production facilities in Stamford to enter into the HD universe. Even though it seems like that was a lot of capital to spend, WWE feels it needed to be done to stay on the cutting edge of technology. Even those who don't watch in HD have benefited as the picture in SD is considerably better now that they are using new equipment.

- Raw in High Definition is still experiencing some bugs. One of our readers sent in the following:

After the pre-Raw show aired on The Score in Canada, anchor Sid Seixeiro appeared and said announced that due to "technical difficulties beyond his control," Raw would be joined in progress without the 15-minute delay Canadian viewers of Raw would usually get. In addition, the ticker at the bottom of the screen said that The Score's HD feed would be not airing Raw in HD, again due to technical difficulties.
