The list of names for the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2008 is said to be close to being completed. At this point, Mae Young and Ric Flair are considered to be a lock. WWE is trying to get The Rock to induct his father (Rocky Johnson) and grandfather ("High Chief" Peter Maivia). Dusty Rhodes has been pushing for legendary announcer Gordon Solie to be inducted. Jim Ross has unsuccessfully pushed for Solie's induction in the past.
