From Ozzy M.: I just came across this. This link links to an interview that Brock Lesnar gave to The Fight Network about why he quit the WWE. https://sports.aol.com/fanhouse/2008/02/09/brock-lesnar-i-didnt-want-to-be-one-of-those-guys-who-ended-u/ For those who don't want to go to the link, here's what Brock said: Basically, Lesnar's explanation is that living the life of a mixed martial arts fighter is a much safer, healthier lifestyle than the life of a professional wrestler. "I just looked around the locker room and didn't want to be one of those guys who was in the business for 20 years an didn't remember half my life," Lesnar said. "I wanted to be there for my daughter's birthdays. It's a lonely business. Get in to get out, that's what I wanted to do. I didn't want to be one of those guys who ended up dead in Florida some place." P.S. On the link, there is a youtube video of Brock's interview.
Michael Griffin sent this in: Another update on the HD situation in the UK. Sky Sports have now reportedly said that the third HD channel will not come into their line-up until late summer at the very least. Some sources from Sky believe British fans may be lucky if we see WWE in HD in 2008.
