Ron Killings/WWE Update, Michael Buffer/WWE, A Fake Rock, More

WWE has told Ron Killings to keep his independent bookings through the end of March, thus he'll be working several AAA shows.

Ring announcer Michael Buffer (the "Let's get ready to rumble" guy) has a terrible reputation stemming from WCW days, and apparently he lived up to it in his WWE debut.

A SCARBOROUGH man who allegedly claimed he was WWE wrestler "The Rock" to obtain gifts and memorabilia from Manchester Football club has been remanded on bail. Wayne Scott, aka, Kane Van Basten, 35, of Eastborough did not appear at Scarborough Magistrates Court, but was remanded on bail until February 18 in his absence. He is charged with three counts of fraud by misrepresentation, two counts of malicious communication and one count of failing to surrender to Scarborough Police Station to answer bail on November 2.

California-based Zinkin Entertainment & Sports Management has taken on former WWE star Bobby Lashley as a client. This is the same company that handles tons of names in mixed martial arts including UFC fighters Chuck Liddell, Forrest Griffin, Josh Koscheck and Mike Swick.

WWE's Florida Championship Wrestling developmental territory has announced that Tommy Dreamer will work next Tuesday's show at the Bourbon Street Night Club in New Port Richey. Dreamer will face Ralph Mosca. ECW General Manager Armando Estrada and Eve Torres will also be in attendance at the show.
