TNA's Cost Cutting, Angle Vs. Joe, A TNA Release, & More News

TNA has eliminated the local promotion of on-sale days for the PPV events, in a cost-cutting measure.

For the Lockdown PPV, TNA has Kurt Angle vs. Samoa Joe for the world title and B.G. James vs. Kip James.

As noted yesterday here on the site, Judas Mesias appears to be done with TNA. His last match with the company was during Tuesday night's iMPACT! tapings. Mesias was getting paid roughly $1,300 per match and TNA just couldn't justify spending that much on him. James Mitchell is staying around though but there is no word yet on what his role will be.

Regarding TNA iMPACT! going live every other Thursday night, the final decision is said to be in the hands of Spike TV. A source at Spike said, "We're working on it," so it's not a dead issue.
