Lita's New Goth Look, Brooke Hogan Knows Best, Trish's Return, More
Confirming rumors started by Hulk Hogan while on Jimmy Kimmel's late night talk show last month, Multichannel News confirms that Brooke Hogan is getting her own show on VH-1. Brooke Hogan will star in 10 half-hour episodes of "Brooke Hogan Knows Best". Synopsis: "Brooke Hogan as she leaves the family nest of her famous wrestler father and strikes out on her own."
Possible DVD releases being discussed for 2009 include The Best of WCW Clash of the Champions, Ricky Steamboat, British Bulldog and Smackdown 10 Year Anniversary.
Earlier we reported on Trish Stratus' return to wrestling are there are new details to report. The match Trish competed in was not professional wrestling but actually something called "glima wrestling". Glima wrestling takes place on a hard wooden surface (not in a ring) and involves mostly takedowns. Former WWE Women's Champion Trish Stratus "glima wrestling" match was recorded by a Canadian camera crew. Trish is filming a new television show called "Stratusphere", where she will tour world learning more about the sport of wrestling. Former WWE Women's champion Amy "Lita" Dumas has been hitting the road hard lately touring with The Luchagors – the punk band she formed with boyfriend and guitarist Shane Morton after leaving WWE in 2006. Lita has a totally different look these days, sporting long jet black hair and several new skull tattoos on her left arm.
