Before this week's WWE Monday Night RAW, Jeff Hardy had a long meeting with Vince McMahon and John Laurinaitis to discuss Jeff's 60-day suspension for violating the wellness policy. WWE spokesperson Gary Davis would not specify which drug Jeff Hardy tested positive for when asked by the Associated Press. Multiple sources are saying that Jeff Hardy's suspension is related to recreational drug use and is not attributable to performance enhancing drugs.

Jeff Hardy was said to be subdued and mindful of his words while being in front of most members of the locker room on Monday. He knows that anything he said could come back to him and get him into even deeper trouble with the company. It is yet to be confirmed whether or not WWE management will be sending him to seek treatment.

The WWE wellness policy states that WWE officials have the right to suspend a second time offender indefinitely without pay if the wrestler refuses to seek treatment if asked by company officials.
