Ric Flair Update, WWE Creative Team Plans, Waltman's Rehab, More

IGN posted an interview with future WWE hall of famer Ric Flair. In the interview, Flair said that it wasn't the original plan to face Shawn Michaels at Wrestlemania. "No. There was no original plan that I know of." Flair is asked who is most likely to become the next Ric Flair, "I hope nobody wrestles 35 years! If they do, they're healthy and do it for 35 years. The thing unique for me is my health, I feel great. I don't feel any different, I've lost a step, but the only issues I deal with are my own stuff. I think sometimes, I can't do what I used to do, but when I actually go and do things, I can," said Flair. When asked about performing salsa dancing on television, "That's just a rumor. That's just speculation," Flair said.

Before his suspension, WWE was planning a Jeff Hardy vs. Chris Jericho long-term program. Creative was searching for a new feud for Y2J since it was felt his program with JBL wasn't clicking.

Sean Waltman is said to be doing well in rehab and should return to wrestling in about a month.

Konnan has been helping AAA with television and booking the house shows during the week. Dorian Roldan is the AAA head booker.
