WWE House Show Report From Waco, TX - DX Returns

Cody Rhodes and Hardcore Holly defeated Lance Cade and Trevor Murdoch for the World Tag Team Championship.

D.H. Smith defeated Charlie Haas, Halfway through the match Haas went underneath the ring and changed into Super Charlie or whatever his superhero name is. During the match D.H. put on Haas's mask and got the pinfall wearing the mask.

Carlito Defeated Brian Kendrick

Super Crazy & Val Venis defeated William Regal & Paul Burchill

Beth Phoenix defeated Mickie James for the WWE Womens Championship. After the match Candice Michelle came out to help Mickie James because Beth was giving her a beatdown.

Finlay defeated JBL in a street fight. We were able to vote on what type of match we wanted to see by Text Messaging. Our choices were Street Fight, Pinfalls count anywhere, and 2 out of 3 falls. Finlay and JBL faught all over the place. Through the crowd and all over the building. They also used a bunch of weapons. Chairs, Trashcans, and a Kendo Stick to mention a few. Very good match.

I should note that before the match with Finlay and JBL, JBL got on the mic and threw some cheap shots at the Waco Crowd, saying that he is a native Texan but had to leave Texas because they are last in education. He also said that all Waco is famous for is illegal Mexicans and David Koresh. He kept saying that he should probably speak Spanish so all the illegal Mexicans in the crowd could understand him. Pretty funny stuff.

Triple H and Shawn Michaels as DX defeated Randy Orton and Snitsky. This match started off very comical. Triple H and Shawn Michaels did the whole DX suck it thing. During the match Triple H got on the mic and asked if anybody had a tooth brush. Somebody actually did have a tooth brush. They gave it to Triple H who tried to give it to Snitsky but Snitsky knocked it out of Triple H's hand.

Trips then asked if anybody had any gum or mints. At that point the ring was filled with 5000 different kinds of gum. The crowd started throwing gum into the ring. The ring was covered. At one point Triple H said they were gonna have to take a short intermission to clean up the gum in the ring. Very funny segment.

Another funny spot during the match had Triple H holding Randy Orton by his trunks. This caused Orton's bare behind to show to the entire crowd. Shawn Michaels did the same thing to Snitsky. They both dragged DX around the ring with their butts showing to the crowd.

Very good show. The crowd was into it the whole night. No John Cena and no Jeff Hardy.

Before the event started Randy Orton and Trevor Murdoch were out back behind the building. They stole a golf cart from one of the security guys and started doing donuts in the parking lot. Cody Rhodes, Paul Burchill, and Katie Lea were the only ones to come over and sign autographs.

I would say the building was 90% full. Very hot crowd. WWE put on one hell of a show. Also the Sign Guy was there. He put on a show of his own. Very funny...
